  • Clear and readable length markings – assist in accurate placement of the catheter.
  • Flex Catheter Tip – geometric tip design enables safe and easy insertion and manipulation through the vascular system.
  • Clearly Marked Extension and Color-Coded Hubs – reduce the risk of misconnections.
  • Movable Fixation Clip – to allow optimal skin fixation, regardless of depth of catheter, which minimizes trauma and irritation to the puncturing site.

Flow Rates and Priming Volumes

Priming volumes represent priming of the catheter itself without the caps. Flow rates are performed with saline water at room temperature and represent approximate flow capabilities.

Biometrix Bedside Kits and Trays provide a convenient range of components required for placement of a Central Venous Catheter for critically ill patients. The trays are conveniently designed and sequentially organized to allow efficiency and accuracy of the catheter placement procedure.
