Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The candidate will tend or operate automated vision inspection machines according to defined procedures. Observes automated vision inspection machines to ensure quality and conformity to product specifications. The candidate will adjust machine components and settings according to part/process requirements. Performs preventive maintenance checks and maintenance adjustments as required. Ensures calibration and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment. Performs product identification and traceability activities, as needed. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into a quality database. Works with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions. Follows all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Complies with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations. Must be able to work extended hours, overtime, and weekends when needed.
Must have 20/20 correctable vision to perform inspection activities. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will come in frequent contact with various types of machine oils, lubricants, silicone, and latex.
